The school is approximately 4,200 square feet. Join in the experience of living and working in New Orleans today.

New Orleans goes by many nicknames, such as NOLA and the Crescent City. It's called the Crescent City because the original town the Vieux Carré, known today as the French Quarter, is built at a sharp bend in the Mississippi River. Crescent School of Gaming and Bartending takes its name from the shape of the French Quarter. The French Quarter is a popular tourist destination. Every year, the city celebrates Mardi Gras, the "Greatest Free Show on Earth!" and the bars, restaurants, and watering holes are filled with thousands of revelers.

Mardi Gras, is a season, not just one day. It starts on on Jan. 6 ("the Twelfth Night"), and ends with the biggest paty of the year, Fat Tuesday. Fat Tuesday is always the day before Ash Wednesday. Beginning in the 1730s, Mardi Gras was celebrated openly in New Orleans. In 1856, the Mistick Krewe of Comus was formed, starting the traditions of the dazzling floats (known as tableaux cars) and the masked balls which still occur today.

New Orleans boasts more bars per 10,000 households than any other city in the United States, including the famous Carousel Bar, Tujague's, the Napoleon House, and Pat O'Brien's to name a few. It's a great place for new bartenders, as well as the more experienced mixologist. And for those who want to deal table games, the casinos of Mississippi are less than 100 miles away. No wonder it's called the Big Easy because of its easy-going, unhurried way of life.
